Opportunities to perform and exhibit works of art are essential for the stability and emotional fulfillment of musicians and visual artists, but these opportunities are not easily available. Little Carnegie of the South not only provides performers and artists with an inspiring and beautiful experience, but it affects, in a very special way, each member of the audience. The connection is unforgettable.

In the Gallery
Libby Bailey, Artist
EG Kight's music crosses many borders that tastefully incorporates blues, jazz, country, southern rock, gospel and funk. Kight infuses each new song with her own blend of originality. Defining her style can be difficult, but the critics continue to try. Perhaps Sing Out Magazine said it best, "Kight's is a voice to be reckoned with, no matter the genre." EG Kight tours in the United States and overseas, and has taught songwriter workshops in Italy and Germany. Having released six blues albums to date, EG has worked with an array of musicians. Notables adding their talents to Kight's albums include the lgendary Koko Taylor, country hit-maker Lee Roy Parnell, and fellow Georgia natives Chris Hicks of the Marshall Tucker Band, Kim Forester of the Forester Sisters, and legendary Rolling Stones pianist Chuck Leavell.
Elizabeth Bailey works with painting, drawing, and printmaking processes. She is actively engaged in both studio art and art history, exhibiting, speaking, and publishing widely. She teaches at Wesleyan College, Macon, GA, and has received three teaching awards. Bailey recently published a book with McFarland Publishers of co-edited essays titled Gravity in Art, Essays on Weight and Weightlessness in Painting, Sculpture and Photography.
